Rod, years ago i used to buy Arcadia magazine at either Kinokunia and Ashaiya (sp) bookstores in Manhattan. You could try your luck with one of them if you really want it.

 

Excuse my ignorance, but what is BP?

I see these numbers next to the players and in the post they are refered as "BP"

Maybe it's just me but it sounds more like a gimmick than anything. I'm sure Daigo has much tougher comp playing other pro street fighter players instead. I have no doubt that the top players from other games are smart and talented for their game, but it doesnt meant they can jump into anything else and be awesome.

This is like Kobe Bryant taking on Michael Phelps, Tiger Woods, David Beckham, Emelienko Fedor, Etc. in a game of basketball.

L_A: Actually all of the guys who were in this kumite are pretty strong, going by their BP. JOE is actually ranked 6th in the country in SF4 so he's definitely a top tier player in the game, along with pwning up 5R SBO lol. I never knew Fuudo played the game until I picked up the mag but being around 43K for BP is damn impressive IMO.

 

I see. My Mistake. Itazan told me him and fuudo have been playing alot but he told me he has a hard time with the pro players.

 

Yeah both Mago and JOE are pretty ridiculous SFIV players. There are some videos of all these guys on youtube, including some of Inoue roasting Daigo sometime back with Bison.

 

BP is short for Battle Points.

Battle Points is a sort of rank point system. I don't know how it works. I'm sure Reno can add more detail.

i saw 1 vid of cammy, the guy must've been playing with oven mittens on because he just jumped around. We saw her in action though, albeit jumping around getting her ass handed to her action.

 

I was able to help out with the gameplay portion of a street fighter iv segment 1up did and they got some pretty good footage of me playing Cammy. Actually, all the best footage isnt even there but its worth checking out anyway!
