shenmue's ending

I was wondering if there is any way to dress up Lau and Akira as Lan Di and Ryu Hazuki so I can get some closure.I don't need a
whole new Shenmue game, I just want to die in piece.

sega should release at least ryo's leather jacket or some thing...

shenmue items as DLC... *dreamin' over dreamin'...

 

Ryo is based on Akira and was originally intended by Yu Suzuki to be the main character but after the Saturn version his name was changed.

I agree with the Shenmue items considering that there is already Samba de Amigo items.

Ryo's hairstyle, jacket and jeans should be items with the phoenix or dragon mirror as a winpose item.

I couldn't imagine any of the fighters portraying certain fighters that use their art. Like that afro guy using pancratium or the biker using pro-wrestling. That's something I'll find surprising.[/size]

 

Chunyan and Sarah, I think that can be pulled off rather easily.


But, when we get a hold of Type E costumes, it's be cool if we could nab her yellow bikini top and some jeans. It'd be a close Joy if she has the long orange hair.



Is anyone confused as I am with Eileen Edelweiss? I thought Eileen from VF would pay referance to Eileen Edelweiss in Shenmue II. Her moves barely pay referance to any of the VF characters, but she almost has Pai's flow of attacks.



NOTE: I'm a huge Shenmue fanboy... So sue me.

 

I was expecting some type of Shenmue fan fiction. I'm disappointed.

 

You can have Eileen play Shenhua. Shenhua probably learned the Monkey Fist from being raised in Guilin.

 

Also Vanessa could be Joy and i guess Jacky could be Ren.

 

I thought Yu Suzuki originally meant Shenmue to be adventure game with virtua fighters characters? Ryo would have been Akira and so on, but for some reason they changed the names. I cant remember why. So shenmue fighting game would be.. VF5FS!

 

Virtua Quest ended up being the adventure game with virtua fighter characters that came out on ps2. Maybe Suzuki decided not to intermingle Ryo with Virtua Fighters because Shenmue is a much bigger story, and Virtua Fighter's story is very loose.

 

I've always thought the Bandage you can get for Akira's nose as downloadable content paid homage to Ryo in Shenmue. Even if slightly, cause Ryo had one on the left cheek.
