Shipping costs

buyrite wants 30(??!!!) bucks to ship a vf stick...there has GOT to be a better price on shipping than this.

 

What...they make an overnight shipping to be mandatory? Dunno...never had good experience with Buyrite personally. No, they never stole my money as others have complained. My patience ran out because of their VERY-sub-par service.

shipping is $13~15 (15 being UPS second day). Stick is 59.95
I ordered a ASCII FT2 stick from them weeks ago, now I just ordered a VF4 stick. (again... my money....)

I think www.ncsx.com used to have better price but now they don't have VF4 stick on their inventory anymore.

 

That was cod, and not overnight...talk about crappy. This is second hand information from my friend, but he is pretty reliable. Wherre would you recomend going to?

 

I think the big issue with Buy Rite which eventually becomes an inconvenience to most customers is that their system is simply take order --> run order --> if order isn't available, wait till it is before shipping --> give no notices to customers about delays.

Gets annoying.... I mean, NCS usually does a great job of letting you know whether or not an item is in stock, and on pre-orders, they will simply not take pre-orders if their forecasts show that they can't reach the demand beyond the pre-existing orders.

Buy Rite seems to simply look as their system as, again, just taking and running orders. Hardly a notice to anyone if they can't accomodate that, probably just an entry that says you made an order.

Sometimes I do wonder if Buy Rite jacks up the shipping prices though. I was actually pretty sure of it a few years ago, though it seems to have gotten better. But looking at how my VF4 stick was shipped in taped pieces of cardboard, one begins to wonder...

I too had similar experiences with buyrite where they let you place and order only to tell you a week later that they are trying to get the item from "their supplier". Then a week later, they'll tell you that their supplier couldn't get the "item". Then after you placed your order with another company, they will send you an email telling you that they can get the item now. Thanks, but your like 3 weeks too late brotha.

 

Yeah, it's true that they charge a hella lot for shipping, and they have lousy order policies. Although, even though I paid about 22 for shipping (I think?), my order came in good time, and this was normal shipping price. I put in an order on Saturday night, and the stick came Wednesday, the same day I got the game. But anyways, maybe I just had luck. The money factor won't bother me after a couple weeks.

 

I ordered my VF4 arcade stick from BuyRite. Took them 5 days to process it. It's 5 days late, but the problem isn't theres. I found USPS and they confirmed the package and said it left Washington state for Canada 6 days ago. Purolator (Canadian) should of had it that day, but they still don't have it. They think it must be stuck at the border. Hopefully it's in next week.

 

3-Day select UPS with ncsx on a $65 T4 stick(preordered) cost me $10. suppose to ship on the 28... hopefully have it by friday so i can do some sweet SPODs with Akira... just had to wait awhile though.
