Shortened throw on LS-58-01

The top picture is the nylon spacer I bought at Home Depot (Model # 87318). Comes with two pieces with inner diameter of .375 and od of 9/16. I sanded the inside till the ID matched the actuator on my LS-58-01 (0.430 inches). The other pics are before and after..

I'm not ready for that. I also have this dream one day of playing Virtua Fighter in an arcade in Japan. I'd beat Chibita, take his scarf and whatever hot asian girl he was with.

Nice to see you're happy with your new stick. But even though I like Seimitsu, a throw that short would drive me insane. Stick claustrophobicness...

 

It does feel a little strange. I had no trouble with executions. In fact, a lot of them were obviously easier (dashes, and shit). It sort of feels like cheating or like not playing with a stick at all, but something else. It will take getting used too.

 

Interesting tweak,makes the throw more like a Suzo STC Standard stick from Europe. ;-)

 

It was too much. I just got another spacer with the OD at 1/2" instead of 9/16". Original actuator was 7/16" and too loose. 9/16" too tight. 1/2" just right, I think.
