1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Skill Tree Layout

So I'm working on a Universal Skill Tree that goes over the pokes and defensive option selects one must now to understand VF. I feel this will give people a nice chart so people can see the depth of VF and at the same time give people a nice chart to look at to help them in creating a flow chart with their character without getting bogged down in specifics. This is meant as an educational tool in general VF knowledge.

My question to you guys is, which layout do you think is easier to read and understand withou looking confusing. I have bullet points, the ovals leading to different options (think of TrojanX's Korean Step explanation in the VF3 vs T3 vs DOA 2), or a bracket.

Can you give some examples of the information you want to work with? When you say pokes and are talking about generalities, are you just going to be focusing on P, 6P and 2P? Maybe 3K?

For talking about defensive option selects, are you going to do something like start with just an evade, and then show what your options are from there?
    Like,
    evade,
    Evade>YTE,
    Evade>forward dash,
    Evade>forward dash>YTE,
Etc etc? Are you going to include info about what these options beat/are beaten by?

I like flowcharts - Visio style. Clear starting points, and then branches that flow from those starting points.

I salute your endeavour (and don't you the task!)

Just the general pokes P, 2P, Elbow.

The Defensive OS would start with Fuzzy Guard after blocked P, in mine with the P->Elbow/Throw mixup. I explained it before, so I want to take a stab at it again, just for a broader audience.

I don't know which format would be easier to read or create. Maybe we could see mockups? :) I don't know what this would look like by bullet points, I don't think that would be a good way to organize the information.
