Anyone else think that we should be able to slow-down/pause the replay speed so that we can (over) analyze what is going on?

No, but I do think being able to fast forward or rewind would help a lot. As I understand it the replays just play the match again, rather then being a recording. If that's the case slo mo as well as FF and RWD could be difficult, but being able to skip to particular rounds could be the next best thing.

I just press start over and over again really quickly to simulate slow motion. Works quite well for my purposes. Rewind would be great though.

Great idea, ff and rwd would be great. that would save a lot of time.

VF4 evo had this feature and was key,...this along with the rewind and replay would be appreciated perhaps through a patch?

And since we're patching things, perhaps additional items become available per player which can be purchased via battle points and such...jus a thought...will be kicking some arse laters...so lookout

I woul love slow motion replay.

Soul Calibur 1 also had a neat feature in training mode: at any time, you could press a button to start a replay of the last 5 seconds, repeated from different camera angles.

That would be a good idea for a potential patch, as well as displaying player information during replays.

On a related question: is it possible to control the camera during replays? I thought I managed to zoom out once, but I'm not sure!

I never really tried to see if the camera can be controlled. Should be an easy thing to check, though.
