Some things to know before you come:
#1 Event starts at 10AM- Ends whenever the last person gets tired
#2 We will need setups PS3's, VF5 games, and Joysticks. BRING IT IF YOU HAVE IT...we will have the monitors waiting for them
#3 I will be getting Pizza for everyone at 4pm. Should have some leftovers for the people coming later (should have enough drinks but bring drinks as a gift) /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Hello, I just picked up VF5 yesterday and love it. This is my first Virtua Fighter experience though, other than minimal play of VF1 when I was young at the local arcade.

I live in San Diego and have a buddy in Orange country and we were wondering if we could come up to this event, to learn some and maybe make some friends.

I have a PS3 I can bring on up if needed, but alas no joystick. Let me know if we can attend!

Oh, and hey everybody! I've always heard the VF community was a well mannered tight knit one, and from I can see so far I'm glad I found this site. The DOA community isn't so well organized imho.

The DoA community does not exsist in SoCal so I don't blame you.


The VF community is a great place to both play and learn at. So go ahead and come on by. Also YES, it would be extremely appreciated if you bring your PS3.

PS: Tell Wurlitzer (from SD DoA) to get up here too.

If anybody have those elecom 201 converters that works with VF5, I have a sanwa modded RAP2 I can bring, but other then that I don't think I can hull my ps3 all the way on the bus/train in a plastic bag. I could bring my copy of vf5 (and a sixaxis?) if that's of any use though.

Also, can someone please give me the actual street address?

Today is the day. Already got confirmation on a few that will be here at 10am. If the other gatherings were any indication this should last till the early morning hours of Sunday. So get here if you can
