1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    Over the years, I've read many posts on VF where players hinted
    that they worked as or messed around with software development, programming, software engineering, etc. Today someone had a AI research in a post.

    I'm a C++, Java and Prolog programmer, just curious as to
    how many other VFers out there do the programming thing.

    Lol, guilty as charged. I'm a c++ programmer currently. Used to use a lot of java, though. And honestly, my favorite language is C#, I just wish more companies used it;;

    C++, Java and VB are the languages I know, and not that well (aside from VB - that stuff writes itself). I'm getting better though.

    Professional Application Developer here,

    mainly work on database stuff and programs in high level languages, including but not limited to PL/SQL, TSQL, Java, Delphi, Visual Basic, C#, LISP and C. Also XML, HTML, CSS, SQL and the like.

    I never play around with it at home though, I'm one of those 'programming is work, not hobby' types.

    aside:
    That Whitespace language tickles my 'weird ideas are fun' senses.
