Just a few general strategies for when you get into higher ranks. hope they help

-- AVOID using Jacky's big combos like PP-->PPK. The
computer almost NEVER gets hit by the whole combo and
    then you are left exposed.

--Instead USE high damage small combos like <--PP and
-->PK. These are canned combos so if the first strike hits,
the following strikes are guaranteed to hit.

--Use moves that SET UP for high damage possibilities. -->K
is perfect for this because it will float your opponents in the
air. Follow this up with a combo. I use PP-->K because its
fast and can hit the heavier characters like Jeff or Wolf. You
also use a high damage variant like PP-->PK, but its only
9 dmg points more and doesnt work on the heavies.

--LEARN to Evade Attack and Quick Rise / Tech Roll
    properly, these are critical.

--Learn which THROWS are good for which situation. The
clothesline throw (--> --> P+G), is good on computers
because i know a special little trick for that. The --> <-- P+G
throw is also useful because it is very quick to do when you
are dashing into an enemy, it is one of Jacky's most powerful
throws and it switches your position with the enemy. Normal
P+G throw is a very weak throw by itself BUT most of the
time you can follow it up with a stomp. Jacky's Sadistic
Hanging Knee throw df, df P+G is his most powerful
standing throw, but it is kind of hard to pull off, and the
enemy can recover from it using a Quick Rise / Tech Roll,
    reducing its damage potential.

--P+K, P, K is my best friend, and it should be yours too.
Use this whenever you know that the enemy is open. As Mr.
T would say "It hurts helluva lot".

--STUDY your opponents in training mode and recognize what
moves will leave them in guaranteed throw position,
    guaranteed strike attacks etc.

--Shuffle Step is a very useful technique that you should
become familiar with. Against human opponents, the
Shuffle Kick Iageri can really screw with their mind.

Um, Er, I cant think of anymore right now. Hope this post helps.

Use the Search, Luke... even my AI knows to beatknuckle, elbow, and throw a lot /versus/images/icons/smile.gif Actually, since any competent human or CPU opponent will TR the df,df+P+G, the f,b+P+G is Jacky's most powerful throw. df+K is ALWAYS guaranteed after normal P+G. The beatknuckle is fun, but the AI doesn't fall for it as much as, say, Sarah's db+K, so I have my AI use P+K,P,d+K for safety. I train the AI to SS randomly as a way to have it backdash... hey, it works /versus/images/icons/smile.gif
