those are excellent examples of Street Photography. Fearless.

Thanks guys for the kind comments. It's always interesting hearing which ones people like because they're often different from my fav's, so it's good to go back and reexamine.

James, you're close on the location -- it's actually the entrance to Meiji shrine. But yeah, it's amazing how there are a few pockets of places in Tokyo where it's like you're completely in the countryside even though you're in the middle of the city.

Yeah, looking through the images again really makes me miss Tokyo. Such a great city to explore.

    Best,

    -Jason

Ugh, I think I meant the Meiji Shrine....that's where the wall of Sake Kegs is, right?

at any rate...street photography is something that I really respond to but haven't spent too much time on myself. Really like your examples. really nice tonal range which is hard (I find) in night shots.

Great work dude!!!!! You've got some really excellent shots in that collection.

Specially the ones with high aperture where you emphasized on the subject in focus that makes it outstanding. And I also like the ones with slow shutter speed where one part in the shot is in motion and the rest is static.

I might be mistaken but seems that I've seen #27 somewhere before. ^_^!

Do you mind if I ask what cameras you've used? And what lenses?

My favorites ones are #28 and #37
    Very nice frames!!!!

I keep trying to find Kage in the shots, but I guess thats why he is a ninja.

Yeah, it is right next to the wall of sake, lol. Such a great place -- I lived in Harajuku for like a year and never visited Meiji shrine until the week I left.

It's so easy to take street photographs in Tokyo. I dunno what it is, just it seems nearly everything you shoot is interesting in some way.

    Best,
