1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Some sad news for the Virtua Fighter community. The owners of San Francisco's South Town Arcade will be closing their arcade operation on Sunday, November 25th, 2012. One of the owners, Arturo Angelo (Art) was a key member in the promotion of the Virtua Fighter scene through VF5FS pre-release tournament series, assisting with running the Evo 2012 VF5FS tournament, and also hosting the No Mercy Friday events. For those that followed closely to each of the pre-release tournaments to learn more about the console version of VF5FS or for those that routinely visit the arcade, I think we can agree that the venue will be sorely missed. You can read the owners' message from their website - "All good things."

Goddamnit. Why can't the states have a thriving game center business overall like Japan? This is just depressing.

That really sucks; although, being a family man, I know how it goes.

Here are my thoughts: We (in the US) don't have what the Japanese have, but so what. We have the basic game; and it's not ideal, but we have a way to play and that's Online. Being in SoCal, I wish I could attend the WNFs; all the people that go are hella cool, and that's more important than the game, imho...but, like the guys at Southtown, I have more important priorities...

With that said, make the best of what you have. For me, I'll be on XBL in a room with you VFDC peeps. Also, a big THANK YOU to Akai for his VF Circuit brainchild. Everyone should do what they can to support the cause.

      Peace!

I had plans to go out cross-country for this next year, if it was being run with some other stuff I wanted to do.

Hope the SF VF comm lands on its feet.
