That match was so bad of me. You should have got one from later in the day. haha

Is it just me or is there a delay on your TV? Or maybe there was a delay on the little TVs. I know there is a difference though.

I didn't notice any whenever I play on brisals set up, maybe Plagues mini screens have lag? Who knows, you were able to get some pretty timing specific stuff off in the match like punishing whiffs with fPK, so it couldn't have been that bad.

Also from here on, you and me seriously need to TE when we see our throws get fuzzied, Talis seems to always be able to fuzzy at the right time than 3P+G to counter lmao.

 

Nah I'm not saying it's lag I'm just saying it felt different. Some off my stuff didn't come out right, but it could have very well been me. And I was TEing later on, but not when my throws got fuzzied. =( I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for getting the vids Brian.

I think I'm gonna bring my own camera next time too for personal use. Haha I know getting vids of me at this point in time would be a waste of tape as I'm not good yet.

 

Something I've noticed in all the time I have played VF is that the size of the monitor affects my sense of spacing a bit, which can affect my timing. Actually, to be more clear, it's not the size of the monitor so much as going from one monitor to another that is radically different in size.

At home I play on a 61" TV, at another regular spot it's something around 50," and sometimes on a 20" monitor. Going back and forth between the 20" monitor used to be disorienting for me, but I've gotten used to it.

However, that altered scale has affected me in the past in VF, Winning Eleven, and pretty much any game that has required a lot of good timing and focus. It's something that goes away during periods of regular play though. If I've been playing a lot of VF overall during the current week, then I'm less likely to be affected. If I've only been playing like twice a month, the affect really shows up, but it takes like 15 minutes for me to get over it.

 

Ah that's most likely it then, because after 3 games or so it felt normal, but I thought I just got used to it. Thanks for the info!

HDTV lag has been a known issue for quite some time and there is still no solution for it.
