GGs at WNF guys. Wanted to stick around longer, but one of the guys with me had to be back in order to get to work at 7am lol. Hopefully should see all you guys at Evo. Maybe get some casuals in Thursday night.

 

Wanted to let you guys know as well. If you get into Vegas early there is a tournament & BBQ going down on 7/4 at the IGL 'headquarters'.

I know most of you cats don't live in SD, but for those that might be interested, there's going to be casuals at Cosmic Odyssey, located @ 1235 Highland Ave in National City on Monday the 2nd from 8pm til Midnight. There's going to be at least 1 VF setup, possibly 2. If you guys can make it, please do so, and bring as many people as you can.

I've got a few people interested in VF, and I only want that interest to spread like crazy!!! If there's enough interest, the owner might start streaming once the place gets totally fixed up. He also said that if people want to hold sessions at other times of the week, he might be down with facilitating that as well. Possible tourneys if the numbers look good, too.

Aside from the SD thread, I'll keep you cats posted as well (including the SoCal/SD threads on the other gazillion FG sites). Til next time. Peace!!!

IT'S COMBO TIME!

In the last season, L_A, GoatCheese Blues, DRE and Plague were regulars in the top spots. Don't sit on your ass at home and let that happen again. Come and do some BIG DAMAGE!

WNFs are hosted at the Super Arcade in Walnut, California with the tourney to start ~ 9 PM PST. Casuals start at 7 PM PST. $5 to get in. $5 to enter the tournament.

Last season saw 30+ players entered two weeks in a row. Looking for 40+ for Summer Edition. Let's do this!

OK so, I am considering taking a trap out to SOcal One week to play VF at WNF. If anyone could give me some information on places to stay etc. That would be great. Thanks in advance

 

So I take it you want to stay more than one day. SoCal has many things to offer. Describe what you like to do besides VF and I'll make some suggestions.

 

You have to take him for the drive on the mountain range. I'll never forget that view, and the jostling of my gut !!

 

Oh man, I've heard so many great stories. It's like going from Virtua Fighter to Sega Rally!

Ugh wednesday nights? That's a long trip from SD to make on a weekday...*sigh*

 

If I have the funds I would like to stay a week. I am pretty much open to anything EXCEPT casinos and alcohol(I Dont drink) I dunno if there are any casino's out there but I need to stay as far away from them as possible....lol. texas holdem owns my soul
