How are you floating with Pai in the first video? I can't get it to work... I was told you can only float with that on a counter.. can you tell the AI to treat it like a counter?

Training mode has options to set the AI's hit-reaction to counter and what not.

    Re: Training Videos?

I've seen the videos before but I'm only just now trying to incorporate the stuff into my game. I'm having a lot of difficulty with the fuzzy guarding part.

Most of the "how to's" on fuzzy guarding have said to either go /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, releasing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif after 7 frames or to use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif instead. After watching Srider's video again, I'm almost sure he's hitting /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif first. Does it matter which I do first? I've been unable to really do it either way.

I'm kind of confused as to the "when" of things. After I perform an attack, and an enemy blocks, what moment am I waiting for to do my fuzzy? Do I do it the second after I've hit the last attack button, do I wait for the enemy's counter to begin, or do I wait until I go back to a neutral position? Or am I just missing the idea completely?

Go into dojo mode. Set the cpu to block and attack back with a mid or throw. Use an attack that leaves you at -5 (or less). after your attack is blocked press and hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and just flick the stick down for a split second. if you do it right you'll duck under throws and guards mids.

if you use an attack that leaves you at -6 do a crouch dash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif and cancel it with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. It should give the same result when done right.

at larger disadvantages fuzzy guarding no longer works.

Thanks for the advice, Fulaani. I'm practicing using the Eileen fuzzy chart that Tricky posted, but mostly just using her /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif . Now that I've started focusing on doing it immediatly after the block, I've had a greater rate of success. I guess all there is to do now is keep at it and practice.
