Starcraft - Any competitors?

Well, it's been two years... and suddenly I'm sucked back into the world of Starcraft. In about one week's time, I will be free to play games again and up for challenges in Starcraft (as well as other games).

Anyways, is anyone here into competitive Starcraft? Once finals are over next week, I'm up for playing either competitive or coop. I currently suck, but I'll work on it/versus/images/icons/wink.gif

PS For the Quake players out there, I should also be up for some Quaking next week as well. Don't respond regarding Quake in this thread though.

 

I do play some Starcraft. Not very good at it though.

Starcraft is the only PC game I play. I just started playing the story campaign again. I only played against my friends though, but I'll take you on.

 

Nah, never been a huge fan of Starcraft. I played a lot of WC2 and AOE2. Last recent RTS was Battle Realms though, but either bad netcode or GameSpy caused many games to be very shakey. Next RTS I'm playing probally be WC3.

 

Being an elitist as I am, I prefer TA (and specifically the Uberhack, which has no discernible balance problems). Of course, that may just be because I'd rather send out 50 tanks than 12... /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

i super rusty in it now hehe. but i can play too i guess. maybe its' hard to play cos of time zone though.......

I've been playing since it came out pretty much. Sometimes I don't play too much, but I never really stopped. I prefer broodwar, but normal sc is fine too.

I play all races, but terran is my fav. I play all maps except BGH / moneymap type stuff. I won't say whether i'm good or not, because of course, there are relative levels of good and bad.

Broodwar OR Normal SC is Fine

To clarify, either Brood War or Normal Starcraft is fine in my book (though I'll admit I prefer Brood War).

Despite being an online newbie to SC, my map of choice is: Lost Temple. But I'm open to any map in general.

I appreciate the responses so far, hope there are more out there! I'll notify when I plan to play next week (most likely Tuesday).

TA really has it all - and yes, specifically the Uberhack. Too bad not many play it these days. Maybe an Open Source implementation of it should be made /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

I play only broodwar. I play at LT as well. Not too good with other maps. Keep me posted.
