I don't play too much these days, but starcraft will NEVEERRRRRR die. Tho I have warcraft 3 and age of mythology, starcraft will always be the best.

 

YESSSSSS i play SC but i lost my broadband connection 3 months ago (i forgot to pay the bill /versus/images/icons/mad.gif ). I usually play as the zerg, my stats are:-

Win = 89
Lose = 103
Dis = 0

 

some of my freinds play starcraft but as for me, i've never played the game in my life. what's it about anyway?

 

Starcraft is a Command and Conque style game where you mine mineral and gas to build better buildings and units to attack the enemy. You chose 1 outa 3 races (Humans, Protoss and the Zerg), on the net ist a awsome game.

my two cents: Starcraft is the most refined and overall best game yet. I LOVE vf4 for all its worth so don't get me wrong, but I think Starcraft is more timeless.

 

I haven't played in awhile but my roommate still plays on occasion. We would have LAN paties just for that game. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

I play SC heaps, its definitly the most timeless games of all time (too bad Total Annihilation didn't fare as well /versus/images/icons/frown.gif )
PS TA2 is comin out 2004, so all u RTS playerz get ready to get your minds blown

 

Have Cavedog finaly seen the light (Its taken about 5 years to think of another TA game). Blizzard outa start planning Star craft 2

 

Although I think TA completely rules SC, I have very low expectations for TA2. Cavedog doesn't exist anymore (TAK killed them), and since five years of RTSes haven't duplicated what made TA great (the heavy resource emphasis, the interface, the mass battles, the freeform race and unit balance, the moddability, etc.) I don't think another game with different developers will either.

By the way, if you want a really balanced RTS game, you don't play TA, you play TA+UH.
