Stepping tech's and fuzzy guarding questions.

    Okay, after searching through the various threads about various types of "stepping" techniques, I'm now completely confused.
    Could someone clarify which stepping is which, and also, how exactly they work. Like what is Kouyou stepping? I've heard of Minami stepping (the thread of DOOM). But what other kind of stepping is there? How would one use them (each type specifically). Also.... what is fuzzy guarding (I simply press up and down really fast while variously tapping or holding the guard button as I CD back or foward) exactly?
