Stick Button layout for player new to using a ?

Hello ,

I have been playing Virtua Fight for a while, mainly with VF4:EVO about 6 years ago and very recently with VF5. I recently bought a PS3 Hori Fighting Stick V3 to try to enjoy the game a bit more and to save my thumb from the rough d-pad.

Control feels great and natually awkward, but i wanted to know if there is a recommended button layout for using a 6 button fighting stick with this game before i get to far along using something that makes it hard to play well.

 

On a six button stick the standard setup is:

P K X
G X X

Some like to setup the 3 buttons all in one row.
