Stick Setups for Good Players

Does anybody know whether there are any in common stick or pad setups that are used by good VFers?

I mean button assignments. Its always a trip at tournaments to see how many different ways people setup their sticks.

I was just wondering whether anyone has noticed some setups that seem to be more common among the expert players.

 

The only button configuration I've ever seen is G P K, from left to right. Granted, I've only played at various socal gatherings but still...I think that is the standard at least in NA.

I've heard Japanese players use a P G K set up, but then again I could be hallucinating/smoking crack/etc.

 

On an arcade stick? How would it be possible for Japanese players to have custom config on arcade setups? with VF card? and for what reason?

 

This VF4 stick follows the traditional arcade setup. The green button = guard; blue = punch; and red = kick.

Stick players use this setup. With the VSHG, you don't need to change anything it's by default. Some people would turn off the rest of the buttons because they are not really used. Others are just careful not to press them.
