STL Garbage Round 1 Ready go!!!

Well i started playing since the first one came out.
Not too hardcore. Then when two came out i was all about VF.
Then a five year retirement and I'm back.

Played hella last night with Slips and T^5.
Had to show'em how to do the Magic Knee with Akira.....Damn its been awhile.

Ima head over to Ti's tonight for some VF4 as TEKKEN4 is a pile of shit.

How many others from the Tekken crew have transferred over to VF4? Seems as though an STL VF scene is beginning to appear out of nowhere.

Hey what up yall! I played one and Two Faithfully, but three i didnt to much like. Vf4 is jus plain great, I jus hope alot of people dont start riding it, like they have been playing it from jump, when they aint really played it all.

What do you mean riding it?? Maybe praising it?? Does from the jump mean from the start or perhaps you were searching for the word begining? You see I am getting older and my slang isn't what it used to be. I'm interested in vf life in St. Louis, so please post back with what your point is???

In st louis most people dont jump on the band wagon until its to late! My point is the game has always been good, but now it is jus Super. Most guys around here are only getting it now, because, 1. they have nothing else to play
2. or they need a tide me over game until tekken 4 comes out..... i jus dont see to many people around here being that faithful to vf4, once tekken comes out. Watch youll see

 

Our group has been playing what many consider to be the alternative fighters in America (ie the SNK and Sega style fighters) in STL for over 5 years now. We've never liked Capcom nor Namco fighters that much which is probably why we've never crossed paths before but believe me, we'll be playing VF4 for awhile.

I think many people just don't like the way Tekken 4 plays. I don't necessarily think everyone will flock back to it when it arrives on PS2. I feel that if people would give VF a serious chance, they would forget all about Tekken. Don't get me wrong, I do like the Tekken series, but the gameplay in VF is much more balanced and fair. You aren't going to be hearing many cries of "cheap" or "that was bullshit" with VF. Anyway, that's my two cents.

 

My only complaint with t4 is that it is to slow and VERY unbalanced, but V4, plays and looks like a real fight.... thats what i have wanted for a long time now

 

i'm down for some vf4 this weekend to test my skill. i won't be free until then though since i have a lot of exams and things coming up.

btw, i think some people here don't know what they are talking about.
