It comes out July 10th, I put a post on the benchmark tool for it in the SF4 ggs thread.

I don't know if anyone else has bought the pc version of sf4, but they have a whole community for modding skins. Check it out, this is very awesome for the sf community. I wish VF had something like this! Awesome Stuff!

I've played it for about 2 weeks and I can say it's pretty solid, the varying artstyles is a cool feature I think should make it's way to console via patch.

If you have a logitech gamepad or a multitap stick I would recommend picking this up, though I haven't found as many folks online than with consoles.

Hey, I've been playing this version for the past few days, and like it's been said, it's pretty solid.
The additional graphic features are a nice touch, but otherwise the game is the same as on the consoles.
As far as the controllers go, I'm using a Sixaxis controller via USB. You can find them on the net, the pad doesn't work any different than it does on the PS3.

The big plus is that the game runs smooth even on a low-grade (for today's standard) machines.
My PC is a dual-core 1,8Mhz Pentium on Intel's motherboard, with 2GB Ram and GeForce 9600GT. All set to highest and with 1680x1050 resolution (restricted by my monitor), easily set to 16:10, so it's not unnaturally stretched.

Game looks great and sharp, and the framerate is always 59.5~60.

Yeah, I like the pc version a lot better than the consoles. Being able to play sf4 in 1080p is great, let alone the character skins.

PS3 controller works with the PC? Or does SF4 PC "see" the controller? I tried this in the past with DMC4 and VF2 (attached the fight stick), but neither of them read it.

I think you have to have an Intel chip set for it to read usb v1.1. I upgraded my mobo to a GIGABYTE EP45-UD3P for oc'ing purposes which has the intel southbridge chip set. Now all my ps3 joysticks work without having to have drivers for it. I think you can buy a cheap pci usb card at best buy for around $25. Just make sure you ask for usb v1.1 because for some reason not all usb peripherals are universal.

Yeah, there are now sixaxis drivers on the net that work with XP/Vista.

Here's one of the many sites where you can download the Sixaxis Drivers for PC .

Aoimaster & Greiver: Many thanks for the info men. Embarrassingly I'm pretty clueless when it comes to anything hardware-related.

You can use most 360 hardware through USB,

I play on GGPO with the 360 pad, and have used my Ex2 occasionally

the 360 joysticks works on the pc just plug and play into the usb port and it will find the drivers for you
