1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. Press [3] and [K]+[G] at the same time.

Yes, and if you still can't pull df+K+G off, you've got some serious coordination problems. :p

is it just me or playing for 2 hours straight makes your palms and fingers really hot, -- and for some reason i can do the DLC consistentantly, whereas playing with cool hand, i cannot

If you're as lucky as me to be playing the PS2 version all by yourself over and over again and thus have acces to the training mode instead of playing in a crowded arcade filled with players having so much skill you get better just by standing next to them :Go to free training mode, put the display on type A and put the movements on slow motion-do that untill you can enter the full command properly, in that way you can see wether you do the command improperly or if it's a timing issue-what I think is more likely since
[3] and [K]+[G] can't be to hard. As soon as you see you're entering the command properly i'd put the speed back to normal btw

@ rustybolt: same here: cold hands need to be dragged over your Arcstick and they lack all accuracy, and that the commands don't follow is quite normal from the stick's point of view, who doesn't prefer something hot over it's joystick /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you need slowmotion to input [3][K]+[G] you should really rush to get medical attention. Like really really.
I hear cricket and boule is nice.

Hmmm, 3 fingers you say? Well he could always bowl or do ghetto signs then instead /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So if we're back to really really seriousland I think you're rushing the direction of [3] when doing the DLC in order to go forward towards the elbow part Asap. Do it more like, [3][K]+[G](neutral)[6][P] then gliding over towards [6][P] etc or rushing with uncertain directions.

thanks for the advice guys. i put it in free mode and used display type B.
    that help no end.
also i might add i started to try to pull off the knee move with moderate success about 75%.
i suppose my topic sounds a bit lame but i only recently bought the vf4 evo stick as before i used a hori fighting stick and there is quite a difference in the 2.
might i add the vf4 joystick s microswitches seem a lot faster in the stick.
anyway this morning was the first time i pulled off the knee /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Gongrats! Have you ever tried doing Akira's knee or DLC continuously on pad. It's true pain...

really? Back in the days, when I played Akira on pad, DLC was one of the easier moves (3. most difficult, pulled it off 80% or something). I think it has to do with the [4][6][6][P][K] directions motion. Get the BC down, and you're practially there! Takes a tiny bit of practise
