So how do you like to play your Jeff?
    aggressive, passive, defensive, etc?

Me, I used to play defensively, but now I try to wrest the initiative from my opponent, and then go at them like a fuckin steam train or some shit. I have incorporated OM and 3K+G a lot into my gameplay lately, and its completely increased my rate of success.

I play very aggressive style, with a low of wake-up game; but with some "drawbacks." That means that in some unexpected moment, usually in some break in pressure (after knockdown etc.), I just dash back and stay on a long range.
Many opponents will fail to this and make mistakes when they are trying to use this "silence" to put some pressure back on you.

I play Jeff.....badly. Nah, I guess you can call my style Tit for Tat. I stand in your face and just kind of do fast attacks until I
see a knee/throw opportunity. I must say I have (not being thematic
btw) some of the worst movement for someone that's been playing VF
    this long.

Dunno, I'd quite like to learn him, but from watching vids, because he's so slow, he's naturally more passive and reactive, which kind of means you need exceptional reflexes to spot opportunities and pick your moments for a few big money shots?

Dissuaded by the fact that in a fair amount of the vids, standout players that are way better than I'll ever be seem to get beat?

Still, I like him because I think his moveset is modern, kind of like many MMA fighters, and in a real world situation he would probably kick the living crap out most of the other fighters....

Haha, his moveset is generally ancient (as in, ancient greece), and he's faster than pai or lau . . .

But yeah, big man with grappling skills IRL == kick the crap out of smaller fighters.

Does the 14 frame jab & elbow not have an effect on his overall play style?

12 frame jab, same as wolf, aoi, DS vane . . .

lol 14f jab would be fucked up.

Jeff has 2 good 14f mids both with followups!

And, you only need to guess correctly once with 6K to turn the tides of the round FAST.

I play both aggressive and defensive. Once my foe makes one tiny mistake, I let 'em have it! Waste no mistakes when fighting Mr. McWild or he'll lash out with that KNEE and it's game over for you buddy. Hahahaha! I use that knee all the time, well not all the time but most of the time. The CLAW is really an aggressive move.

When I use JE I tend to train the person not to duck. His /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif when fully charged can quickly help one win a match if the opponent likes to techroll. You could also use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif~/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif to setup for alot of things as well... I also force the opponent to bait a move that can be punished by /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or even worse, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif~/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif cancels to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif work alot also, or even /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif~/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif to /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or a low throw.

For me I use Jeff VERY defensively occasionally throwing out a jab here and there to let the opponent know I'm not a punching bag. The only time I'm aggressive with him is when I'm rushing down an opponent and when I do that I tend to do things that catch my opponent off guard like random jumping and threat stancing.

At the moment I use Jeffry in a very abare manner, which is really not that good. I believe threat stance is his most important key so I use it a lot. I go for big combo's even if its risky, so I like to gamble. I like to use his "fancy" moves a lot such as Threat P, buzzsaw's, TKOD's etc. I'm really bad when it comes to long distance so I like to fight in close to medium range. I watch lots of videos of good players like Magnum/Highkick,Shinbashi/Adam etc. and try and incorporate their strengths into my game if possible.

    I like my Splash.......

I will say I tend to get more aggressive when I've cornered my opponent or have him/her near the edge of the ring...
