Super Street Fighter IV

Rumors are flying around like crazy. Tons of Alpha characters, 3S characters, T.Hawk and DeeJay rejoining the rest of the ST cast.

More Ultra moves (including Akuma's air fireball). Faster gameplay. New parry mechanic. In fact everyone gets an Ultra that's an Air Ultra.

Two new rumored characters:
Hakan - arabic grappler obsessed with oil.
Juri - evil asian girl fighter working for Seth.

The old barrel and car stages are allegedly back.

"Tadan Saving" which is a new focus attack to absorb more than one hit.

Look for the official announcement at the Toyko Game Show.

 

I'll believe it when I see it. Although I may consider rebuying the game if it has Q in it.

 

Please dont tease me, is this for real.

Plus 2 New characters, Juri and Hakan.

Everyone will have 2 Ultra's, Sakura will have 2 Ultra's 2 Supers, Zangief has an ariel 720 super, Chun Li gets Kikousho, Guile gets Sonic Hurricane, 3rd strike characters have all their previous supers in the form of 2 Ultra's 1 super (Makoto has Tenden Renki as super and links to Ultra) Cody has Alpha counter!

Not what I have been reading all over, just the addition of alot of airiel ultras like Zangiefs, Gen has a air ultra I assume will be crane stance which has high linkability.

Otherwise just returns of fan favourite ultras etc

 

proof or ya'll just BSing us. Not about to get excited about some crap that don't exist , AKA VF5R. Far as I'm concerned since I can't friggin play it.

 

The fact that the information seems to be vanishing, does give it some credence.

I'm all for new characters, but 2 ultras? really? pfft...

Stuff needs to be rebalanced first, seems they are more concerned about flashy superdeeduper moves rather then improving the system..

 

I find that only having 1 ultra is enough since it forces the player to adapt to how that 1 ultra can truly be used more efficiently because it is the only big move they have and they need to balance things out so certain characters don't dominate so easily. Aside from that I would love the addition of a few SF3 characters Ibuki mainly if she is added in the game they need to make her game closer to how it was in double impact. I didn't like how she was done in 3S

 

I miss SFIV, do people use gouken? I liked him when i played.

 

To be honest, I most want a HD remix of Darkstalkers. I would kill for that

I think they where asking about this on Capcom Unity, with a lot of positive responses

 

No announcements yet right? If the rumors prove to be true, I might take this one seriously (provided it plays like a new game). Ibuki, Makoto, and Guy are difficult to pass up.
