    Great video's with intense combo's. You pulled off that crazy Oshu Akira combo in the third video, the 33p, 6p, 6p, 6p, 3346p (unless you buffered dbl plm different). Myke as always great matches!!!

    I believe the technical term for that is a "bug" /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif It's the main reason we saved that replay. We were both expecting a back throw!

    01:14 or so; you seem to try and do OM K on reaction? That is if you evade something and see it's something big go for OM K. But I take it you give up on ETE then and just think "evadeattack" in the back of your head for this to work right? Or do you simply yomi it when you think your opponent is going to go for something really big (like a yoho or byakko here I guess)? Never seen it done in your own okizeme like this so basicly wondering how you think when going for it / when since you seem to like using OM K a lot (and to great success), is it specially cause you're facing Aki for instance?

    KiwE, it's more of a result of yomi/anticipation/reaction. That match happened a while ago so it's hard to remember exactly what state of mind I was in.

    But having played against Junior's Akira for many, many matches, the mind games start to get very intricate and we both know each other's games very well. I guess I sensed (yomi/anticipation) another attack from Junior after my Ukemi, so I DM'd then turned it into the OM K (reaction) for the side crumple.

    Sorry for the wishy-washy answer.

    maybe I've missed something in the past, but how'd you get the replays to play w/ out commentary? Is there a setting in the pause menu I've missed?

    Anyway, nice playing, I like Junior's style (eat OM /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif -> SPoD, would've worked too if he'd have gotten the command).

    I have to say though, maybe you should change the name of the thread to "Sydney Not-So-Casuals", by my count 10 vids up and 10 wins for Myke... isn't that a little cold-blooded man? I can tell this guy's a pretty good player, let's see a match where Junior takes it!

    LOL, I keep telling Junior each time we play to ensure he saves some matches of his wins, but he either forgets or doesn't want to. In general, after each match he's usually keen to play the next and I have to make a point of stopping him to save a match.

    The next time we play I'll be sure to capture some of his wins. It's just unfortunate that we've only had around two or three sessions so far so it's not like we get to play very often.

    As for the commentary, the PAL version doesn't have any at all, so I can't help you with disabling it.

    Nin, I miss those days too... but I can't wait to kick your ass in Japan at SBO! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

    Go to the main settings menu for volume. Set commentary volume to zero. Note: I have the U.S. Version of VF5 - may not be the same for JP.

    In the asian version (I don't know about the japanese version but I'm assuming they're the same) you can turn commentary off on the vs & arcade settings screen. I've found non vfers & people new to the game like the commentary and say it helps them follow things a little.

    Oh yeah...& nice matches Myke & junior. Was any of that, by chance, after midnight Akira?/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

    That is true: "It's a mid-air combo!" Still - if you only do this, I believe your replays still end up with commentary... "Is THIS how it's going DOWN?!"
