    Hello VF4 players of Sydney!!! yep im a newbie, ive played the game once, lol
    I just wanted to know how many peeps here are from Sydney and what are yo names and is the comp good???
    I know Junes and michael from the Tekken scene, but who are the rest of you? and yep you heard right im a tekken player, but i just bought VF4 for my jap PS2 and i would like to get good at it..
    ok ill probably see yas around soon enough, but probably not at playtime untill i think im a worthy challenge, lol laters...

    Turn up at Playtime...the VF4 crew here consist of myke, Ken, junes, micheal, kim(who's at HK at the moment), Vansen, some korean dude whose name eludes me, there the guy who designed VFDC's banner... etc etc

    Myself excluded cause I'm still not in Sydney YET! (A BIG FUCKING YET)

    Competition wise, I would say very good..plus they are all friendly n nice ppl..(myself included hehehehe)
    megalo 410 cabinet...good sticks...air conditioned during summer...what more can u ask for?

    Hey Tony_T,

    Most of us get together on Friday nights at Playtime, from around 7pm and onwards, and on the occasional Saturday. Just come along any time if only to see us play, as you might learn a few things there that you can't at home against the CPU.

    Oh, and if you've got two joysticks, then when are you inviting us around? /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

    well your all welcome to come around and play, i know junes will be, lol the only prob is i dont have a proper VF4 stick, i have a namco stick pluss a few pads /versus/images/icons/frown.gif you guys are welcome to the stick since im a pad player but i dunno if you'll like it or not???

    maybe one day soon we could organise a gathering at my joint if your interested, however ill need a couple weeks just to figure out some basics, lol

    We're all scattered around the joint -- some around the Ryde area, I'm in Parramatta, and a few live downtown (or close enough). The city is usually the best meeting place though, but for a special occasion I guess we could make a trip out to wherever you live, provided you have enough space to accomodate a small group.

    Anyway, there's no pressure to have us all over at your place any time soon. Take your time in learning the game and you should probably try to make a point of meeting us in person beforehand anyway.

    Just a followup:

    A group of us (myself, Vansen, zzBadnasty, Regan) will be in town to catch Mulholland Drive and will probably check into Playtime after the movie, at around 9pm or so. If you're around, feel free to drop in.

    Ken, I just noticed you're online. Come to PT tonight if you can. Vansen wants a piece of your Lei /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

    As Myke said before just come on Fridays and have a few games or ask some questions.

    Check some of the info on this site on what characters you should start with. Or if you already have your heart set on a particular character then we'd be glad to start you on the the right foot!

    Well.. my better characters are LeiFei, Lion, Jacky, Akira, Shun in that order. (i'm Chinese guy 5"5' longish hair).

    Myke uses Kage, Vanessa, Akira, Wolf, Shun, Jeffery?..


    Kim uses Aoi, Akira, Kage, Jeffery but is in Hong Kong at the moment.

    Vansen is a Sarah specialist.

    Well basically if you ever want an opponent just yell an we'll be there.

    I dont think ill be able to make it tonight, but next friday sounds good!! ill try and contact junes and see if he will go with me, if not then look for a white guy who is 6,1 thin build and doesnt have a clue on what he is doing, lol, that will be me...

    BTW do any of you play Tekken?
