Breaking and VF are the two things I do with my Fridays (well, and work, but I don't really have a choice about that...). Anyways, with Back to the Underground coming up on the 11th, I'm shifting my focus off of VF for a while. Then there's Christmas, during which I probably won't be in town at all. So I guess I'll be seeing you all in the new year...? I might make it to one or two Friday's before then, but I wouldn't count on it.

Hello, just wanted to update our itinerary:

Shang and I will most likely be in Toronto by 1 - 2 pm on Friday 12/10/04.

We'll be spending that day in Toronto checking out FT at the arcade and spending the night in town.

Saturday: We'll be hooking up with Godeater, hanging out with him and his bevy of bitches. Retro play and Evo play along with hilarity will ensue.

Sunday: We're pretty open on what to do on this day, but I wanted to throw out the possibility of kind of a mini tourney this day? /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif I think i'd rock. (of course depending on the availability of players)

Monday: Heading home bright and early.

What the fuck is wrong with you guys...you should come a week later...I'm right in the middle of exams. I'll try to make it for next Friday(Dec 12) though, but that's all I can spare in terms of free time. In the past few months VF has been put on hold for me...

Although I have my wife's corporate Xmas party this Friday, I will be making an appearance /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif following the event. Most of my household has been under the weather, so I'm anticipating an earlier evening for the rest of the family...

I can make it after 8 on Friday. Is that at Metro? If not, then nevermind.

I can hit up Metro for a while on Sunday, but I've got work at 5:00. Hmm... I'm not so sure if I'll be able to hit either of these.

Jerky(or anybody) when exactly will you be at Metro square...I just finished my semiconductor physics exam and am gonna go study for my next exam...so I just want to know at what time I should come by, so I don't waste any time.

BMF, I will be at Metro around 7:00pm which means Jerky and Rich will be as well. Come anytime after 7 I would say.

Well, I'm back from visiting the guys up north, Gotta say it's been very fun (especially retro!) and I'd like to send my thanks to Godeater (tiger) for being a most gracious host and to everyone else who made it out to hang out with us this weekend.

FT impressions:

Jacky: offensive strategies are changed around quite a bit I must say. 3k,p is a decent poking mid from a distance and his new animation for 3p+g is very easy on the eyes. Took me a while to get used to the new 43p command for countering as well as not being able to use beatknuckle nor 6k to float as per the norm in evo /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

ss options although nice are kinda hard to setup and require lots of conditioning of the opponent - they really should left jacky with the ability to ss cancel because with all his other main tools toned down it takes a lot more risk this time around to get major damage with him. (33k option is has the most damage potential by far)

Lion: Ha, i actually forgot what new stuff he had, but to be honest he plays the same as evo mostly.
