I'm getting some heavy Highgrade vibes from that stick.

Looks like a re-branded madcatz TE to me.

The design of Madcatz TE stick is very different from this HORI stick. The casing for this Hori stick looks very similar to the old Tekken sticks for the PS2. While the TE stick from Madcatz has the same design of a actual Viewflex cabinet.

Ahh, didn't notice it was made by Hori. Only just seen the link in your original post.

go hit Sdtekken and chase down the bonus Calendar where they promise "The hottest Characters". Hilariously, the cover is all men and the inside sample is of Paul.

    so much sub text.

The bundle is supposedly $149.99, so I imagine the hori stick isn't great. Although maybe it might breakthrough like the TE and triple in price in the future.

An interesting note I found at SDTekken was this:

"No word yet on whether or not the components are Hori or Sanwa. One interesting thing to note however is that the buttons are a color that Sanwa does make. Also the stick has a shaft cover, something not normally found on Hori components. More news and details on these bundles in the coming weeks!"

    Here's hoping! [IMG]

I dont know about the wireless, doesnt that mean there will be lag?

the 360 one is probably wired tho, for what I have understand Microsoft doesnt allow 3rd party companies to make wireless controllers.

MS has released their wireless protocol... sort of. They've given out a frequency that is similar to but not the same as first party controllers.

Also, I've never noticed lag on MS's wireless controllers.

MS is getting less and less tight-assed and restrictive as time goes on. Next, they need to ditch their specification for the layout on sticks. The button configuration is fine for VF since there's only three buttons I have to worry about, but for Tekken I would have preferred the four face buttons on the 360 controller in a "square" layout for easier access.

As soon as I posted the above, I received my SFIV TE stick (I ordered free shipping and the estimated shipping date was tomorrow!). The button configuration was different from MS's specification. So apparently, there are exceptions. It was a pleasant surprise.

It'd be kind of silly for them not to make them Sanwa or Seimitsu, with the standard of those parts with the madcatz TE.
However it could just be a cheap business move, to people that can't tell the difference.

I'd like to get the ps3 bundle for the game, seeing as though I don't own a ps3 stick.

I need a stick. Which one looks better, the tekken 6 or the
    street fighter 4 stick?

I don't think MS has restrictions on arcade stick layouts. If you look at many of the previous Tekken arcade sticks, they all use a similar layout depending on the console. But that's one of the reasons I don't play stick for Tekken (outside of the arcade), I don't like extra buttons on my stick and I'd want just four on a Tekken stick.

Right now we don't have confirmation on the parts inside the Tekken stick, so I'd say the SF TE stick. If we find that the Tekken stick uses Sanwa parts, then I'd say the Tekken stick.

Then why don't you remove the unessessary buttons? (Easier said than done, plus you might need it for Street Fighter whatever comes next.)

If we're talking purely colour of buttons, it's exactly the same colour combination as the highgrade :p

Because my current dual console custom stick works for every fighter other than Tekken, and I don't want a custom stick exclusively for Tekken that won't work with anything else. Not to mention I've always been a pad player in Tekken. I play stick for everything else though.
