   Floating the opponent is when you knock your opponent in the air high enough to enable further attacks to connect. These follow-up attacks performed against an airborne (or floating) opponent are called air combos or juggling/juggle combos.

   If someone's playing cheap, you should stick a knife up their back and push them into the river - and usually bodies float... hence "floating opponents".
