The 14th selectable character: Dural

Yesterday was awesome Dragon Parade in Chintown and VF4 this weekend was just as spectacular. Hey nycat, that was my kung-fu school doing the Lion Dance! My neighbors went to watch it too. I had to attend church.

I was at CF on Friday between, 8-10 PM. We still have to hook up sometime. Unfortunately, I'm spending the coming weekend in Toronto.

What are the requirements to make Dural a playable character?

Can you use her in kumite mode to obtain VFnet items? Most likely not...

 

For dural to be selectable you must beat her in Kumite mode (she is a Grand Emperor, so you'll be close o being a god (i.e. wind, thunder dragin) before you see her. Once you've defeated her (don't worry if you lose to her, she'll be almost every third match until you beat her) she becomes selectable in VS mode only.

I can post my system file for download (opens up Dural as selectable character) if any of you guys want... (must have EMS adapter to save to memory card). It's 40KB.

I have not yet played PS2 VF4 either. I await the American version next month w/ unabated enthusiasm.
