The 3rd annual Ohio tournament hosted by OSU(May 27th 2006)

A year after last year's tournament, the Ohio State University will host yet another fighting game tournaments on campus. Here's the thread on last year's event.

Rules: we'll be doing the Console version where you can choose Slash Characters vs #R Characters.

Rules: 2v2, or 1v2 if you don't want a partner. 2 Stock, no Leopoldon, no Homemade Robo Ky2's

Housing: Ask serious members, or there are hotels nearby.

That's also the same weekend as ECC. I've gone to that event for the past 6 years and can't see myself straying away. /versus/images/graemlins/indifferent.gif

ECC is trying to have GG / on the 28th. I wonder if both organizers were aware of this. /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Shag, I do believe that Wigfall is prolly aware but the fact of the matter is ECC is a capcom event first and foremost and anything else secondly, the past couple of years they have been discussing not throwing a GGXX tourney at all stating such things as "GGXX players are annoying and smell bad" and "they just crowd up the back room and waste our space". This is a GGXX tourney with VF now, no capcom so far as I know so that is the thing, that's what my boy Jin was thinking when he decided to run it like he did. On the alternate though, ECC sure the fuck won't be throwing any VF on the side. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

hey maddy, it's dan. i'm gonna be coming to this tournament with some friends mainly to play guilty gear, but it'd be cool if we could get in some VF again. i need to practice some first tho lol.

Cool. FT's probably arriving on Monday. It'll be playable during the tourney week. Is there any chance you guys can pick up Derrick and his bro on your way?
Derrick said he'd be able to come if there's any transportation he can get.

looks like i'm really booked this weekend ; 10 mile race (soldier field 10 miler) that i signed up for (my gf reminded me) months ago, and 'bike the drive' where they close down lake shore drive on sunday as well.
My family is still coming from out of town late saturday for the long weekend , so that is confirmed>
there fore i will have to take a rain check on your invite. A very sad and torn me, as i hate to turn down invitations, but i over booked myself .
