Has anyone consistently figured out how this works? What every Blaze player has probably seen once is where you do an up /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif at close range to crush a low attack, then appear behind the opponent as they stand up and then back in front of them when the move finishes animating. Does anyone know the exact situation for this, and if so, is there a use for it (deception etc)?

It usually happens to low squatting characters(Eileen and Lion for example)What I notice, it happens when the jab is at fully extended. Two things happen here. A) You might jump over the character completely, or B) The situation you describe happens, and it occurs, when they're standing up(After the low jab)and El Blaze is still airborne. I try this out a lot in dojo, and what it comes down to it, is pretty much random. I was able to pull of the first one more frequently then the one you describe. If you see yourself in that situation(Backturned), do a standing K+G or a 7K.
