The fun game that is no longer so fun :(

I bought VF 5 disc and played it.

After the question about HDD was asked and i choose YES, MANY times the game never loaded. Instead before the "LOADING" text only a black screen appeared and stayed forever. And when i restarted PS3 it said something about corrupt hard disk. I had to "recover" (i think) the console. And this happened many times

I returned the game. Anyhow i am experiencing difficulties with VF5FS.

After a match online i clicked the circle thing to read message i got, and then then the game stopped reacting and didn't load the interface or anything. I never got to read the message or anything.
And i had to turn off console and ...recover console again.

I am really really frustrated. After i recovered the console went slow, and when i was at VF 5 the things went slow. Loading online went slow. And after match the music stopped and Akira´s voice also disappeared.

And game froze again.


I am really frustrated I played other backed when i had VF 5 on disc, and No other games had the problem i have with VF.

What is going on guys? VF is such amazing game but it seems it has issues?

The day VF 5 fs was released digitally for PS store is the day i started using the hard disk of console. So how can it become corrupt -.-?


Daaaaarn. I will try provide more details soon (sorry).

NOTE: My playstation console seems wrecked. And the boot button isn´t reacting fast even.




ERROR MESSAGE (after game stopped/or console froze/black screen):
"The system was not turned off properly last time it was used.
The file system of the hard disk may be corrupted.

This system will restart. Check the file system and restore it if it is corrupted. If the file system is corrupted, it may take 2 to 3 hours to complete"


After that "Checking and restoring the file system...
Do not turn off the system.

After this operation has completed, the system will restart.

 

That's not VF's fault. Its your PS3 to blame.

Hopefully restoring the file system should clear it up. If you keep getting this message I'd advise to backup and install a new hard drive.

 

And while you're at it, buy VF5: Final Showdown from the online store

 

I've got VF5 from the store Darrius I just said i had VF5 on disc and same problem happened.

I really did not counter this problem until i put in VF5 disc in PS3 and started playing. And now i have encountered similar issues with VF5FS.
Anyhow Darrius when i got VF5 disc for round 30 dollars i regret big time later that i got it. No online and -2 characters!
But it all worked out. The issue i had with VF5 disc made me get 200 value of store, i used it on 200 Playstation network value card. Filled up my psn account's wallet, and then waited for release of game

I am not sure what you mean by install a new hard drive.
Do you mean that i should take out the hard disk inside PS3 and replace it with a new one?

You got that game for 30 Geez! When I picked it up again I got it for like 4 bucks. What kind of PS3 you got? Slim? Fat?

 

I think i got PS3 slim.

I tried player with invite earlier and i did encounter something very annoying.

Why do i have to wait for 30 seconds in the lobby before playing again?? There is the option to stop the timer as if 30 freaking seconds arent enough for choosing a costume or 1p/2p side. Looks like only the host has the timer set for 30 seconds, 2p has to wait just 4. Is there a option to start the match FASTER??
