The great VF5R character mini-poster giveaway

So remember when we went to chat with AM2 in Japan last summer? I asked if they had any spare copies of a mini-poster of Sarah and Vanessa I'd seen in arcades there that I really liked.

They wound up giving me a full arcade promotional kit - with TWO full sets of character mini-posters, two full-size VF5R splash posters, and a super-size tapestry. Holy crap, I did not expect all of that.

Now, I love all the posters (they cover one of the walls in my room), but there's still a whole bunch here that are left over. So here's the deal: I'm giving these awesome little collectibles out to people on VFDC who ask for them. First come, first served. All I ask is that you cover the cost of a poster tube and shipping (about $6 in the US, more for those outside the country).

How do you claim the posters? Just post in the thread with the poster you want (ONE PER PERSON PLEASE), then drop me a PM with your details, and we'll go from there. First come, first served!

Please note - the Jean and Taka posters got rather dinged up in the shipping process, so they're not in the best of shape, sadly - they've got a couple creases and whatnot that you'll see when you look at them up close.

I take it from the pose of model that you put on the Vane poster that you didn't like the way they did Vane? XD

I didn't like the pose or the facial expression they gave her. Sarah, Pai and Eileen all look cute but Vane looks like she's making... idk, a crazy face? Oh well, she's still the baddest female in the game.

The Jeffry/Lion one is coolest looking one I think and Jean needs to stop acting like he's too sexy for his chains.

Nah, I just had to put them in certain places to keep some of the posters from trying to roll back up. Stuff that's been in a tube for a while tends to do that!

Sal, they said when giving me the posters "most people would put these on Yahoo! Japan Auctions or something, but we don't think you'll do that." So yeah, I think that's a good indicator that they really don't want these sold. And the one-per-person thing is to be fair about divvying them up. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Oh please, I have no way to send you money, but can I ask you please please PLEASE to scan those posters before giving them away? Otherwise there will be no opportunity for me to see those... In 300dpi please, so it will be printable

 

I agree with Fco. With the limited amount of VF5R media , this could be an opportune time for someone to make some stick art with those images.

 

They're about 3X the length of my scanner, unfortunately /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

If you want to scan them segment by segment, I should be able to mesh them together seamlessly.
