Silva's bjj looked like a blue belt level. It was not impressive. That being said, it does not matter if your opponent is scarred to hunt the sub.

Chael is a clown with a staggering number of defeats, this is just another one of his many losses. As I suspected Silva Won quickly.. Blame it on whatever you want, but Fail Sonnen had 2 shots and lost both times. He shouldn't have even gotten this fight after being beaten by Bisping, but that rigged decision pushed this money maker along.

MMA isn't really worth watching atm.

    lol at exposing A.Silva.

What? Try and hold him down for 25min? Good luck. A.Silva brilliantly used his BJJ to keep sonnen from doing ANYTHING while on top, and ultimately tiring himself out.

How did those takedown attempts workout in round 2? That's what I thought.

You think just any fighter can take A.Silva down? keep him down? lol. You better be an Olympian in wrestling. And even then you will still lose.

What this fight clearly showed is that A.Silva is retiring with that belt. The only one outside of heavyweight that can give this guy a challenge is bones.

Does Silva have to choke a bitch?

Here is the thing. Anderson was shown that he can be taken down and if the person on top is careful, he is not active enough with his hips to threaten. He also squared up right off the bat with his first hook, which is a huge no-no against a good wrestler.
I agree, I think he is retiring with the belt. Munioz is probably next in line to challenge and he is just a lesser version of Chael.

With exception of retiring with the belt, I agree. Sonnen is not a young man, but did show that Silva can be taken to the ground. Get a younger fighter in the octagon with a strong wrestling base, and it would spell trouble for "the Spider."

I don't think of him as a lesser Sonnen at all. He's a different fighter that brings a different set of problems.

Munoz's standup and power(especially his Donkey Kong GnP) is MUCH better than sonnen's. If he gets on top he can end the fight. Takedowns aren't on Sonnen's level but honestly; who's is?

If Munoz didn't injure himself I believe he would have beat Sonnen. I'm very much looking forward to his fight today.

Face it, Spider haters, there is NO ONE at Middleweight that can challenge Silva.
I think that Rashad Evans can give Anderson a lot of problems and he has been talking about moving down to MW just to challenge the champ.

I'll admit that Chael's a great talker. Best talker in MMA right now.
