WTH?! I am about to reactivate my mista tee account in a few weeks and it looks like everyone is going to stop playing. This is sad. Well good luck to all of those who have decided to take there final bow. It sucks but if you feel that’s what you need to do, then do it.

Konjoh........well I wish there was a way to convince you to still play and not go out like this. I play you so little and I wish to play you in person someday. Maybe that can still happen, who knows? And I honestly agree with Denkai and his advice. Sometimes playing dirty come tourney play is the only way. I don't know what happen at the tourney, but from what I am reading it sounds like you have been suffering from a mental block that I once and at times still suffer from. You just have to find that mental balance that works for you. It will open a whole new door for your game play that you never notice was there before. kinda like when you had that VF5 epiphany a few months ago. Remember how good that felt to realize a new potential for you to achieve? Come on, I know you want to experience that again. Take a break man, come back strong. I know there is still more fight in you. If not, I am coming to New York or wherever it is you live and slapping it back into you.

Damn man, I remember our matches every few weeks since VF5 first came out on console, good shit. I feel like I'd play you, learn VF and the Lei Fei match a little better, and the next time we played, we'd both be leveled up.

 

plague this is nice of you. i just wanna state that rodney retiring is not easy for him at all. in fact, i don't think anyone has any idea how hard it is for him. for someone who's been playing the game for 15+ years deserves nothing but respect and admiration. i admire rodney for staying true to VF. the decision he made should not be looked down upon. instead, we should celebrate his loyalty to the game and to the community.

like i told spanky on the ride back home, "VF community has the best bunch of mature individuals in any gaming scene..."

Wait, what? Lol, damn, I never used the word "retire" in any of those posts. I did leave VF for over 100 days (oooh, aaaah) Hey, that was a lot for me. I gotta admit, if it wasn't for online VF it would be a lot easier for me to lay off VF for longer. I prob shoulda waited for VF5R or 6 before coming back but I took care of what I wanted to and took the step back that I needed. I guess it is kinda dumb to post here about your life plans but I think of yall like family and if I'm going to take a step back or totally quit, I'm going to let yall know. Not for permission or to rain on anybody's VF parade but out of love. Trust me, if I didn't care about yall I wouldn't at all.

Omaha Jeffry, farewell in your travels. We have fought together as team USA & against each other (NYC vs everyone else) a number of times over the years and I'll never forget those moments (especially when you lost the dreads!). You're one of the inspirations for me back in the day to always strive to improve and exceed everyone. IMF, Cappo, Maddy and many other people from the past will never forget your contributions.

It is so sad to hear about many of my long time VF friends quiting especially since I am finally coming back to online play again. I may not have very many people to play against after all this time I was away.

Yea I'd be done too if I talked so much shit and couldn't back none of it up and got owned left and right day in and day out. I don't even play VF and I made Cozby quit.. GG. Now who wants to see some Cozby owned replays? I got this 1 match where he drops the stick after 2 losts. it was LOL.
