Chibita's aracade(Ikebukuro) is really really hard to find. I remember Arice is at level 3 with level 1 and 2 all the porn and prostitute stuff.

He owns the arcade iirc.

 

Not for long, I think. Arice is closing, last I heard.

 

So sad. His arcade was one of the cheaper ones. 100 yen for 2 credits.

I would say the reason Japanese players are put on a pedestal are because the good ones are just so much better than us. That's not a biological thing, it's that they have communities in the thousands that get together to play fighting games, so they get lots of opportunities to play against a lot of different opponents.

And it's definitely not just a game.

 

Couldn't agree more. The first time I was there and I saw 20 VF machines catergorized into Kyu, Dans and above Dans, my eyes nearly pop out. With all the machines fully occupied in the evenings, there was so much to learn, watch and remember.

I didn't really get many pics. Those that I did I gave to PSM3 here in the UK.

Rayne - PSM3 are WELL up for videoing our match and putting it on their DVD, billed as PSM3(me) vs VFDC(you). Which is dubious labelling at best, but I'm down for anything that promotes VF. I'll do the Hori cheat so we can dress up our Lions to look like sex.
