The Terminal

... Or how you will be glued to your seats from opening to credits /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif. I saw a sneak preview last Friday and I am already pumped to watch it again this Friday.

This is by far my favorite movie of the year! And even though speaking of Tom Hanks' brilliance is nothing new, I feel compelled to reflect, even if briefly, on his WONDERFULL performance in this masterpiece.

Victor Navorsky, Tom Hanks' character, is a very likeable man on screen. He is calm, kind, obedient, and loyal, and Tom Hanks helps polish his character gorgeously, making you feel for him the entire time.

You will feel sorry for him watching him struggle with English in a busy airport environment. You will empathize with him when he tries to manage the problem he is in. You will love his friendly nature and the friends he make.

Zeta Jones is also cute in the movie, but I always liked her so I don't know /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I don't want to spoil it to anyone interested in seeing it, so I will stop here. But if you like light-hearted yet deep movies with great performance, you can't get better than The Terminal.

I want to see the movie also. If you're into foreign films, a great movie to check out is this korean film called Oldboy. Many of the good things you noted about the Terminal reminds me of the good things about Oldboy, everyone should check it out if they have a chance.
