    FireLiu,
tell us more about the vf scene in Beijing, 80 players from Beijing or from other parts of China? I keep on seeing female players in China, both on video and in real life; a positive change from the old boring USofA. Srider, we should pay a visit soon to pick up some of these hotties.

Creed: That's not an arcade.. You dumb white... err... person..

As far as I know, the majority of these players are from Beijing. More people would've entered if the tournament was not stick-user-only. They were not playing in an arcade, they are using PS2 Japanese version of vf4evo. The arcade scene in China is dead now because of pressure from the government. How sad /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I was in Wuhan. The arcade scene was dead. Gosh, the latest game was kof 2001 in Wuhan. And no ps2 in site. Oh well. Perhaps my next visit to china will be Beijing.

Probably heavy censorship and regulations upon arcades. (hour of operations, tax, age limit, game content restriction, location, etc.)

That's too bad really... but maybe they'll open up.
