Sega and VF looks like they belong to a Jurrasic era after the Evo announcements. So now basically only VF will be the fighting game with outdate shitty online/ No rollback

 

Maybe their plan is to focus on live tournaments, in Versus mode, in person game matches where netcode is not an issue

 

I've looked up some videos on rollback netcode. Though I've never used it, if it can make the game feel smooth like it says, if implemented right, I'd love that.



For whatever reason, even people I have good connections with feel so inconsistent for me. One day it'll feel great. Silky smooth. Next, it sucks. Sometimes it does that in between rounds and games during a session.

Really hard to play and sucks in general to play like that. Makes playing incredibly stiff and awkward. Feels like I'm dealing with constant situation resets because what I tried to do didn't happen. Thought I'd be there, but now I'm here. Some I can attribute to input failure, but.. Dealing with delay is already a thing in itself. Adding that into the mix is just, fack. Trying to react to stuff offline is already hard in itself.
