The zone

Just a general queston; Has there ever been a point in anoyone VF playing where you just zone out. Example: I was playing some player matches and I felt like I was out of my body watching myself just beating the crap outta people, like I had "The Glow" or something. I was deflecting everything, perfect setups for combos the whole shebangabang. I would love to read some posts like this so I'm not crazy as I sound.

 

How about when you're in the zone....only to have someone like Konjou Akira come in and completely fuck up your buzz lol.

 

I had a 2 day stretch where i was in the zone, beating 90% of my opponents only fighting 9th dans and up. Since then, I have felt like i'm playing crappy every day, b/c i'm just not hitting it at that level. Mildly depressing really.
luckily Konjou Akira didn't show up, lol.

 

Holy balls! Konjou is a zone killer isn't he?!

 

No matter how good you are in games like this if someone knows the game more than you do at a higher level. The zone isn't going to get you far. A couple of games maybe but consistency and knowledge
blows the zone away.

 

I was in the zone at work one day. Just getting tons of over due work done. Then out of nowhere Konjou came in and SPoD'ed me. Damn him!

Yeesh, tell me about it. He just HAD to come and destroy my 16 ranked match win streak while making me like a foolish nub at the same time.
