Thoughts on Kage's move-set......agree, or disagree?

I must say, i have a gripe with kage's moveset.

Okay, i'm not here to complain about the strength of kage's combos, or the ease of them (or the lack thereof). What annoys me so much about kage's move set is that his tools seem lazy and exceedingly unrealistic, vs the other VF characters. Namely, the continuations of his moves.

To me its aesthetically ugly how his upward chop backflip combo is used to hit opponents that are laying flat on the ground. The same can be said for his jumping knee into jumpkick combo. These moves look flat out BAD when they scrape opponents off the floor.

Also, I'll say that some of his oki, like the front flip kick, appear visually to be performed well after a sweep kick has made contact. His stance jump back to avoid high rising kicks will avoid a high kick that clearly goes through his body.

Without even changing the strength or function of any of his combos, i'd really like to see Sega change the visual representations of these moves, or replace them with moves that serve the same purpose, but do say in a way thats not offensive to the eyes. Same with his moves on oki, but those are more forgivable the scraping moves.

Does anyone else feel this same way?

Nah, he's a ninja. You're supposed to be getting hit by him and go "WTF?!?!"

On THAT note they should bring back his old TFT while keeping his new one, with each one having a different direction.

lol. I'm all for him coming at you from odd angles and being like WTF!!! But not because he did a jumping knee to pick some up who was flat on their back.

And yeah, at least they fixed his TFT so that he has to force you to the edge of the ring to ring out you, rather than so that he has a cheesy RO opportunity when getting dominated until his ass is pinned against the wall.

The only thing that irks me aesthetically is when [2][P] lifts the opponent off the ground into a combo.
I'm satisfied with the flipkicks though. :ninja:
