Throw Escaping Lei Fei

I'm a Virtua Fighter newbie and I'm trying to get a hang of the game but I have a question specifically about Jacky vs. Lei Fei. I was playing some matches against Lei Fei and I'm starting to get the hang of throw escaping him, but the problem I'm having is when Jacky evades Lei's standard throw the Raishin Senbu (P+G), there is so much distance put between the two of them, that I can't really capitalize while Lei is recovering. I was wondering if anybody knew of any good moves or combos that can be pulled out from that situation that could be used to punish Lei Fei.

 

Lei recovers 6 frames slower than the opponent when his P+G is escaped... but yes, the distance between the two is large enough that you can't really capitalize on it.

 

well I don't know what the distance is on the throw break but I'm guessing its pretty far. Try to suprise him with maybe a jacky charge up attack. When I break akira's ff+P+G i think jacky pushes akira about 3 to 4 steps away. Plus he has a frame advantage. Jacky's charge up usually will suprise someone enough to get them to either freeze and block, then get staggered or take it and crumple for a wonderul backflip. =). i think it's b, f+p+g. there isn't any ff+p+g throw for akira.
