Timing question

I'd like to ask about the timing window for entering commands with direction? For instance, how long do I need to hold the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif before pressing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif in order to get a /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif instead of /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif?

 

Pretty long I guess.

The thing is, to use these moves properly (ie fast) you've got to hold /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif during the execution of whatever action you were doing before you want to go for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

So it would look something like this:
/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif,(immediately)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif
or
/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif(to dash in), /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

If you want to do them from idle it requires a bit of a feel (much like driving a (non-automatic) car, ease up on the clutch and hit the gas when it grips). Press /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif and just when they start moving press /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. But really, the above is key.

I think this explains why almost all my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif failed. I was trying to do it the "manual stick shift" way /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
