    Standard Disclaimer
These videos were all automatically timestamped by a little program I wrote which is still in progress. A new feature I've added now shows a summary of the characters used along with the play count. This is helpful if you're looking for videos of a particular character since you can readily see if the character was featured, and for how many games. No need to manually scan long indexes any more! If you spot any errors in the index, please let me know.

This is an amazing compilation Myke:

Some high level mindgames going on @ https://youtu.be/URiDWKeN-o0?t=132

The set that begins @ https://youtu.be/URiDWKeN-o0?t=386 showcases that, for some reason, LeiFei was gifted with a bunch of moves that scrape the floor so Shun cannot play his usual game. In fact, Shun stole the 4th round by jumping over LeiFei's attack.

I felt a slow-mo was deserved @ https://youtu.be/URiDWKeN-o0?t=568 - the commentator goes "ora?" after Wolf's RAW failed to work on Shun.

Jacky player really knows his Taka matchup @ https://youtu.be/URiDWKeN-o0?t=620 !

SHU shows off his own matchup knowledge @ https://youtu.be/URiDWKeN-o0?t=834 - you did well to include the entire match, the el Blaze player stuck to his own character's strengths (spacing) and it ended in a nail biter.

And, as with previous highlights, loved the slow-mo on hitbox nonsense, such as Lion going under and through El Blaze's pancake press @ https://youtu.be/URiDWKeN-o0?t=1066

I wonder if VF wouldn't be better served with some click-bait level editing ("where's yo hitbox at, bro?" or whatever kids say to each other nowadays), indirectly explaining what's going on to the uninitiated, not in a didactic but rather in a tongue-in-cheeck way? I mean, you have done most of the hard work, what's adding a couple of impact font text in the video to potentially generate some interest for the game and for whatever SEGA is preparing next?

Oh, and a very good choice of character to end the video on  Now i'm off to binge watch the entire thing!

I've thought about this too, and to date I've usually opted for a separate video as a "teaching moment". For example, I recently tweeted this about EX_MIDs:

There's a lot of nuance behind why that whole sequence was possible:
    • EX_MIDs against crouch guard makes the follow-up a guaranteed Normal Hit (NH)
    • Lau's 4P+KPK is a natural combo on NH
    • Lau's 4P+KPK produces a sideways push towards Lau's stomach
    • Lau's stomach side is facing the wall
With the aligning of all these planets, Lau was able to get a heavy wall side stun into the side crumple, etc.

Moments related to hit boxes are usually self explanatory, especially when I deliberately highlight something with a close-up and slow mo.

But If I can find a way of adding other context into the highlights without disrupting the flow of the video, then I'll certainly do it. Otherwise, I might just make a point of making more standalone "Let's talk about..." content.

    Thanks for the feedback!
