Tokyo - January 5th - Final Call!

Hey all - as of right now I believe GaijinPunch, Unconkable, and me are gonna meet up in Tokyo January 5th for some VF goodness. I PMed you guys (or at least I think I did, the browser was acting kinda screwy). Anyways, if my flight arrives on time I should be at Tokyo Station at around 4:30pm~5:30pmish. I'd be up for dinner and VF. I don't know where I'm metting you guys, or where we'll be playing, or what not, but as for me my bus leaves Tokyo Station at 11:30pm so the closer we play to there the longer I can play. Being from Fukui with very few stints in the big city I don't know where is good to play, and where would be good to meet all of you guys. So yea, just want to finalize things. PM me for my cell phone number if you don't have it.

And are there any other takers? I was talking to Fishie a while back and he said Zero-Chan and him might make it out but havn't heard anything interested. Come on guys, your all but guaranteed a nice win% boost, come on out!

I plan on getting up around 2pm on January 5th then heading out to Tokyo. I has been a year since I have been around there so I can only suppose the hotspots are still in Shinjuku Sportsland among other places. As for spots that would be close to Tokyo Station, how about we just meet you there then decide from there? I will be giving Namflo and Mukatsukushun a call tommorow around 1pm so expect my call(if you can take one on the plane Namflow). If not, you need to write what the closest exit of Tokyo station you will be waiting at and we can meet at that exit. Also, I have no cell phone since I am only visiting so I would either have to call you guys from this house, or while at the station. Let me know asap.

I don't remember how far Akihabara is from Tokyo station, but if it is not too far on the JR then we could just go to Club Sega right outside the station. I need to do some shopping for my friends anyway while I am there and also there are some good eats nearbye so let's kill two birds with one stone.

Hey all - I was glad I got to meet Makatsuku Shun, good games! Plus he was really nice and even left his sick girlfriend to come out and play VF with me! Sorry I didn't meet up with unconkable or GP. Unconkable - I didn't get into Tokyo until 5pm or so, it seems like you went to play VF before I got there. Makatsuku Shun called your house and I don't think you were in. That sucks we didn't get to meet up, but maybe next time. Man, visiting Tokyo always makes me envious, I have to drive 45 miuntes for an arcade with VF comp. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Oh well, time to stop bitching and get myself some food. Yeah, I wanted to get some early games, go buy some shit and eat with my friends, then swing by Tokyo station to meet you later, but we got a call from my girlfriend's parents who had some big dinner thing planned so I got peaced. Maybe next time!

Mukatsuku Shun,
Way to rep Shun Di on me. That was hardcore. Also, that Kage player ended up beating me pretty bad around 15 or so times before I had to get outta there to take care of family matters. I had a lot of fun and way to rep STL South County in Japan, lol. Take it easy.

Sory Zero and I couldnt be there.
We had bigger fish to fry, people to interview and preparations to make.
Naka and Miyamoto were great, Koshiro is always fun but man AM2 lead producer Osaki who replaced Kataoka now that he has become president KICKED ASS
We have some info that will make most of you peeps VERY happy, you will all have to be patient until we get the go ahead from AM2 tough.

How long are you in town? I'm playing very litle these days. I'm not that impressed with FT in the least, and I'm moving from japan in less than 2 months... seems pointless to pour 100-coins into FT... Part of the reason I've not been posting. I'm also on a mission to leave here, and not have to worry about buying another 16-bit or 32-bit game... ever... so that's taking qutie a few yen as well. (I won't even bring up my recent-found PCB addiction).

I do enjoy hanging out w/ my mates a lot, but since I quit smoking, I can only go about an hour or so in a game center before I have to leave.... then I have to scrub down before my wife will be in the same room with me. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif
