Top of the online ranks

So last night, I finally saw the number one guy "Bibo no Aozora" online, but everytime I tried to challenge him, I got "unable to connect." Has anyone ever fought him? I am curious about what his record is. I noticed earlier he got demoted to 4th dan but is now at 6th dan. Anybody?

 

Nope, I'm curious myself. But remember, those rankings dont mean Jack. I only look forward to people who have a high ranking(10th Dan and up)

 

I don't put any stock in the rankings either. But if you get 4bp for winning and 1bp for losing, and that guy is 6th dan, either he is playing a shit load of matches, winning a shit load of matches, or both. That's the only reason I want to see.

 

You can see people's win/loss record on the leaderboard by pressing X (I think?) to toggle the display between vs points, total wins and total losses. The guy at the top of the leaderboard had a losing record last time I looked.

At the bottom of the screen it tells you to press something (I think the back button) for "help", which will then tell you what to press to change the points display, and also how to jump to your own position on the table.

I was just online so I checked. His win/lose is W:4280 L:5455. I just played the 2nd highest ranking guy I think from Korea who plays Akira. He's pretty good. I only got a round off him.

 

Thanks man, I didn't know you could see the win/loss record from that screen. So that guy has played that many frigging matches? Sick. I'm just about to clip the 200 mark.

 

Yo look for konjou and black bauer They are tournament players. they also have the highest rank not point wise

 

I played Black Bauer the other night. Yeah, I think touched his Jacky once. He wouldn't give me a rematch cause I was such a pathetic match for him. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

 

Look for Be360. His DM with Wolf is the ultimate weapon.

 

They are both users on here too, Denkai and Konjou Akira. I haven't played them much, i've played Denkai's Akira a little but never his main and I got pwned by Konjou once when I first went online.

Worst Wolf player evah! All he does his spam DM catch throw, even if you break them or beat him out of it he will still resort to spamming it. He avoided playing me after he figured his shitty spamming wouldn't work.

 

I played Bibo No Aozoru last night. Basterd just let me win. My grand total of fifty fights of experience wasn't worthy of his time.

 

Some of the ranks are populated by pullers who got there before the penalty came into play. So rank means jack shit, there's some players in the higher ranks that are straight laughable.

 

What penalty?

 

I have to laugh that as of yesterday I was #6 in the world in the online point ranks. It's laughable because I'm not nearly that good. Just played a lot of matches.

 

For two days I was number 1. Which meant nothing since I overtook the great Be360 to get there and his is not a lofty throne.

He must be unemployed. I picture him looking like a Korean version of Cartman in that WoW episode.

 

I played Konjou quite a few times and he destroys me. I have only fought Denkai's Jacky once and it came down to the final round, then he pwned me. Its great playing them because they really show off some unthinkable possibility's.

be360 just doesn't strike as a great player I didn't have much trouble beating the last few times and yet he ranked as high as he is. Aside from the people on VFDC I know can play are any of the other top ranked guys actually good really good like Konjou Akira or Chief Flash. Then again is it true that most of them actually got their position by throwing matches away as I have heard here in this thread.
