32" Sharp Aquos
PS3 Virtua Fighter 5
Nice clean flat.
May play some Call of Duty 3, Ridge Racer 7, Fight Night R 3
and some Wii stuff.
But VF 5 is what the main attraction will be.
Usually free on Weekends, so feel free to drop on by for some VF anytime.
Hard to find people to play with nowadays, it's not like when I was a kid, most my adult friends don't know or care for VF.
Anyways always looking for more VF players in TO region.

 

Post up people as this is what Toronto has been asking for - someone willing to offer their place and time to play VF.

Too bad I can't make it to this weekend but I am otherwise committed. Hope others take you up on your offer though as it is a generous one. I live in Georgetown just about 35 minutes from yourself.

Curiosity: Who are your old VF friends? Do/did they frequent VFDC or IRC? How old are we talking? Toronto VF crowd stretches back to VF1.

I doubt they are known, just old friends that date all the way back to VF1 on Saturn.
I use to play some at the Arcade downtown, before the whole arcade scene died.
We were pretty hardcore into VF - VF2 - VF3, but lost touch after VF3 cause I left the country for work and haven't really gone back into VF until recently with VF5's PS3 release.

You get older and you begin to lose touch with gaming friends that made your childhood fun, so what I want is to be able to go back to that again.
Anyway my place is always free on weekends, unless plans come up. I would like to see a small VF community develop like the way it was back in the days.

Hmm this sounds interesting to me. I am from scarborough. I played VF since VF1. But I am a scrub, it would be nice to learn from some pros.

I'll be back in Canada on April 30 (living and working in Japan) for about 5 days, so I'll make sure to have one day where we can get together and game for a bit, sound cool? When I come back to TO, I'll be staying in Mississauga, but I can always head downtown whenever.

Nooo!! I want to come try VF5 so bad but I'm right in the middle of my exams right now so I can't make it. I finally received my VFHG stick recently so we'll have at least one for the next gathering.
