Was that Chibita or Fuudo that lost early? I can't even tell the difference anymore.

Nope.

It wouldn't have mattered what character Serori was playing, because he was just in the groove. Why should they rebalance Kage cause the dude using him was kicking so much ass with correct guesses? Just rewatch the matches and see how in the zone Serori was, and how it could've actually been even worse if he was using someone else due to the rewards other characters could get based on properties of moves that hit.
