Team Hydra may try to make it. As of now we're looking at the price of tickets and seeing if the specified dates this will be happening on are doable. Anyone know where to find "CHEAP" tickets to Korea /versus/images/icons/wink.gif !

The best bet to find a cheap airfare to Korea/Asia is to find an Asian/Korean travel agency in your area. If you have a Chinatown/Japantown/Koreatown/somethingorother nearby, chances are you have one or two travel agencies there. I honestly don't know if Florida has substantial Asian population, but I imagine there must be some Asian travel agencies in big cities. (If you have no idea, I would go to a nearby Chinese restaurant or a Korean run Taekwondo school or something and ask around. Or maybe I can give you numbers to the agencies in Boston.)

Those travel agencies most likely can find you a cheaper fare to Asia than other agencies. And they may be able to find you a cheap fare too if you have need for stop over arrangements. (For example, fly to country A, stop over at country B for a week on the way back, so on.)

During winter things would be a little more expensive, but you may be still be able to find a good deal.

Thanks for the tip Hyun. In fact we have an area in Orlando that has lots of asian run buisnesses. So we should be able to find an agency there.

You might also want to see if there's a Korean newspaper in your area too. You can find some travel agencies around the country, and some of them can find some really nice deals.

Well... that's what I did when I went searching for tickets to Thailand last month. Looked up a Thai Travel Agency in a US-based Thai newspaper (the Travel Agencies I asked were in Texas and California) and came up with some really good prices for travel. They were about as low as about $350 round trip at the time. Tickets were sent quickly to my house after faxing them a copy of my passport and what not. Worked out nicely.
